What is Keyra?

Keyra is a marketplace for homes, land and household services in Nairobi. Rent, buy or book a short stay, and find trusted cleaners, movers, fundis and more, all in one place.

Is Keyra free to use?

Yes. Searching, saving properties, messaging and requesting viewings are free. Listing a property or a service is free to start too. Paid plans with extra features are coming soon.

Can one account search, list properties and offer services?

Yes. You never need a second login. Turn on what you need from Dashboard → Capabilities.

Finding a home

How do I request a viewing?

1. Open the property you like. 2. Tap Request a Viewing and pick a date and time. 3. Track it under Dashboard → My Viewings. The lister confirms, and you can message them anytime.

Are listings on Keyra checked?

Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live. Badges on a listing show what has been checked, for example a verified property or a verified business.

Listing a property

I signed up to find a home. How do I start listing properties?

1. Go to your Dashboard → Capabilities. 2. Under List Properties, choose Landlord, Agent, Agency or Developer. 3. Tap Enable Property Listing. Your lister dashboard opens on the same account. New to Keyra? Choose List Property when you sign up.

How do I list a property?

1. In your lister dashboard, tap Add Property. 2. Complete five short steps: property type, details and price, how people contact you, photos and video, then preview. 3. Submit. Our team reviews it, usually within 24 hours, and you're notified when it's live.

How do I get more enquiries?

Add at least 3 clear daylight photos of the living room, bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. A short walkthrough video (up to 2 minutes, phone held sideways) helps a lot. Give an honest price and the exact location.

Offering services

How do I register as a service provider?

New to Keyra: choose List Service when you sign up. Already have an account: go to Dashboard → Capabilities and tap Become a Service Provider.

How do I list my services?

1. In your provider dashboard, open My Services. 2. Add your business details, the services you offer with prices, the areas you cover and your working hours. 3. Add photos of past work and submit. Your profile goes live once our team approves it.
